Getting started with anything is always daunting and we have Fundamentals classes that are designed to reduce the angst you may feel when it comes to starting up Functional Training with Barbells.
We have an awesome little 2 hour session where we break down all the movements with you and get you moving like a pro at the end of it. If you are getting started in exercise again after a long while, getting back into it again, already exercising but want a refresher or looking for some knowledge of how to use a bar, this workshop is for YOU.
We will also run you through the basics of movement, a mobility assessment, core tests, a core activation drill and a majority of Barbell movements that we will use in class.
To add to it, we will also give you some homework to do at home, some basic drills that you can work on before you get to the gym so that you can get ahead and enjoy the clases.
We have condensed a 4 day course (6 hours into 2!). Jammed packed with a tonne of movement value, you will come out of this workshop with a few light bulb moments and an eye opener into the world of crossFit and Functional Training.

The above represents the general structure of a training session in an ACTcon class. Sometimes we vary the session by going long on the Metabolic Conditioning where we do larger workouts with higher volume or long intervals depending on where we are on the Periodization Block of the program.
